Our Unique Approach

Personalized fitness training at Body In Balance In the Body In Balance Fitness Center, you will work with our professional, certified personal trainers in a program designed specifically for you and your goals.

Your functional fitness needs will determine where you will start with your Targeted Postural Fitness Sessions. It is imperative that your body is moving correctly before we ever decide to weight a joint. Sessions focus on mobility, corrective postural-based movements, as well as functionally-based exercises. Our training is based on functional movements and incorporates both cardiovascular and resistance training exercises. Whether you are 18 or 90, you will find Body In Balance Fitness Center a match for you.

Body In Balance Wellness Center’s state-of-the-art exercise facility specializes in exercise protocols that take into account each patient’s age, condition, physical limitations, as well as technical and motivational levels. Our personal trainers are skilled and knowledgeable and will help you achieve your therapeutic and/or fitness goals.

What separates us is that your health is evaluated by a team of professionals before you even start a program. Your spinal and joint integrity, movement patterns, mobility, ability, strength, age, percentage of body fat, heart rate and many other factors are used to precisely design your Targeted Postural Fitness sessions. Your exact fitness level will be determined and your program will be designed specifically for you. As you progress through your program, sessions continue to be tailored by our team of professionals to set you up for success. Outcome measurements are used to increase your accountability and results. Our focus is on creating long-term success as opposed to sacrificing to reach short-term gains.

What Our Patients Are Saying...

Fitness - Karla S.

"I saw an article in the paper about Body In Balance and I decided that it would be the right place for someone my age. I had been looking for a long time for a place that would help me with my goals. What I really like about the fitness center is that it is a very non-threatening environment. No one cares how good or bad you are or how you look. None of that is important. What is important is that you get better and you make progress. The trainers are incredible. You feel comfortable with them; they are just so good. They tell you when you are making progress and if they see you doing something incorrectly, they help you. They don't expect us to do everything that they can do, and that's what I like about it. I now do hour-long trainings. The trainers make me work, they help me know that I can do better, and they make me sweat a lot (that's good!). Most of all, I really look forward to coming because I feel so much better afterwards. This care is good for anyone. I'm 75 and have rheumatoid arthritis. I have days that are not very good and I can come here and do what I can do, and I go home feeling much better than when I got here. That's what is important to me."

"Regular fitness training continues to be a cornerstone to my regular fitness upkeep. I like training in an environment that focuses on each client’s individual needs from the perspective of chiropractic health and body mechanics. Every year brings new challenges as my body continues to age, but I’ve established a priority of giving this body good support and odds of weathering future challenges, big or small, as they arise. My body has traveled far since those first days of waking up in the morning with a numb arm or contorting my gait in order to minimize hip pain. In my mid-60s now, I feel far more confident in my wellness approach now than ten years ago.  Imagine what a healthy culture we would be if everyone began life with this kind of holistic approach to body/mind and integrated it into their lifestyle!

I continue to build on my BIB foundation over time by keeping up with regular exercise and staying active, maintaining healthy nutrition habits, continuing to learn what foods best support my bodies’ health, continuing a regular meditation practice that supports mind/body health and aspiring to a life of balance. This includes keeping an open mind to new information, ideas and challenges. Though each of us must embrace our own path to health and well-being, physically, mentally, spiritually, BIB offers a valuable resource to anyone fortunate enough to take advantage of it."

I joined Ignite Lean after I was first referred by a friend to Body In Balance Wellness Center. Stephanie is fantastic! She is helpful, fun, gives clear direction and pushes me. The most challenging aspect  I have faced is working out in the morning – I used to work out at night and like to sleep in. The results that I’m most proud of are improving my balance and seeing that I have endurance! I would absolutely recommend the fitness center to others because Stephanie is an outstanding trainer! Also, the equipment is varied and in excellent condition. It is a small room, so it’s fun to engage with other people who are also pursuing fitness. Plus, she plays great music.
