I feel the gentle touch

and the healing begins

I take a deep breath and my body responds

From the very beginning

Drs. Scott and Leah

Help me beat all the odds

Be it cancer or domestic violence

There is nothing we can't beat

Even though the touches are gentle

My body feels the heat

Sometimes in my healing

I feel some discomfort

I have learned to embrace it

I have learned to respect it

Because from there we can go fourth

There are no limits to how my body reacts

I must keep my mind's eye looking at the facts

It is a fact that when I feel I am going backwards

I am taking a running jump

I remember that pain is trauma releasing

I breathe into it and release it

I tune into my heart

Join the rhythm of it beating

I have been given such a gift

To receive this perfect healing

While lying on the table I can't see the ceiling

I must trust the touch

I must trust the healing

I let go of the past

Realize it is history
