Creating a Foundational Shift in our Communities for a Better Tomorrow

Over the last 17 years, we have had the privilege of working with thousands of people to facilitate healing, as well as improve levels health, function, and wellness.  While this is how Dr. Scott and I spend the majority of our time, we also firmly believe that community members who are educated on health make better decisions for themselves and their families.  Every month, Dr. Scott and I teach free classes and webinars on a variety of health-related topics for our practice members as well as our local community.  We feel this is a vital aspect of our role within our community.  Our intention has always been to provide a service that can impact our community in a positive way.  What we haven’t talked much about is that we have provided this service for organizations and workplaces all over Denver and the nation for the last 17 years.

We believe that learning how to create a foundation for health, stress management, and personal growth is one of the greatest tools available for positively impacting our work environments, maybe even for changing the planet.  US businesses lose up to $300 billion yearly as a result of workplace stress.  We believe that people who become educated on living a healthy life with practical tools can set the foundation for thriving versus surviving. For these reasons, we have taught classes at corporations, small businesses, churches, volunteer organizations, schools, government organizations at the national, county, and city levels all over Golden and the surrounding areas.

Because of the negative impact stress can have, we typically start with teaching a foundational class on stress management.  We all have stress but how we choose to deal with it is what matters.  When we understand how stress affects us on emotional, mental, and physical levels, making choices to support our lives in healthy ways often can happen with ease.  By supporting our lifestyle with healthy decisions, we have the ability to be the best versions of ourselves which translates to having more energy to apply our best work, relate kindly to co-workers or family members, and pursue our passions.  Health is truly anyone’s greatest asset—without it, nothing else works.  When stress is positively supported, health improves, we start to live more fulfilling lives, and we prevent disease.  All of these aspects can come together to make a massive impact within our community—whether that be our family, our church group, our volunteer organization, or our co-workers.

When we work together to promote healthy environments, we can heal better, thrive together, make better decisions, and truly change our communities.  One of our favorite aspects of working with a company or organization is helping people make connections about their health and wellbeing.  We love to share simple and effective ideas that can improve an individual’s energy level, improve the immune system, improve quality of sleep, and decrease inflammation levels.  Frequently the meeting planners that establish educational events for their staff or group report their organization’s renewed upbeat, productive, and healthy environment.

Please help us spread the word.  If you are interested in having us come to your workplace or organization, please reach out to us.  Even if you are not the one doing the scheduling for your group or workplace, please reach out to find out more about how we can support the health of your organization’s environment.  We can coordinate with those that make the decisions.  Learn more at https://bodyinbalancechiropractic.com/book-a-speaking-event.  If you are ready to schedule or want to find out more, please contact us.  Our event coordinator can be reached at [email protected].
